Happy 4th Birthday

Kyla celebrated her fourth birthday in Seattle with her Cousins, Aunts and Uncles, Grandma, Grandad and Great Grandy Helen. During the day she played with Lauren and Jacob and then later went to the pool with all of her cousins for lunch and swimming. Later in the day we had dinner, cake and ice cream, presents and lots of fun seeing family.

zoo

We went to the Zoo with Mason and Madeline while they were in town. Ethan and Ella also came with us, so we had five wild animals running around the Zoo. They had lots of fun seeing all the animals, there were three baby bear cubs and two baby moose calves that were lots of fun to watch.

Slumber Party

Kyla, Madeline and Mason had so much fun spending every minute together that they could during their trip here. From the time they got here until we left for our trip they spent every day together playing and had slumber parties every night. We brought our airbed over to my moms house and they had fun watching movies in bed together.

Imaginarium

Kyla, Mason and Madeline had lots of fun at the imaginarium together. We went with the three of them the last time they were in Alaska a year ago, so it was fun to take them all again. Kyla got to pet a baby alligator, play with bubbles and lots more.

Bearpaw Festival

Marcie and I took the kids to the bearpaw festival and parade in Eagle River. We had never been to it before and even though we had a great time I might not ever go back because it turned out to be an awful day. It started out great, the parade was really good and they had a great time on all the rides together. We were about to leave and I had to go get tickets for one more ride, one of Kyla's favorites. I went to go get tickets and Marcie was waiting at the ride with the kids. Kyla must have not realized she was staying there with Marcie and wandered off to find me. I got back to the ride with the tickets and Marcie told me Kyla was missing. We searched everywhere for her, i dont know how long she was lost, maybe half an hour, but it felt like forever. We were all so upset and when I finally got to her at the missing child station where a couple had taken her, we both broke out into tears. Marcie and I felt sick for the rest of the day, it was the scariest thing ever for me.

Early 4th Birthday Party in Alaska

Kyla got to celebrate her 4th birthday a week early since we were going to be out of town on her actual birthday. She got to spend the day with lots of cousins, had cake and cake pops, presents and a pinata.
