Halloween presents

We had a wonderful Halloween night at Zoo Boo! The three of us and Grandma all bundled up and headed to Zoo Boo in the freezing cold weather. Kyla was once again dressed as Minnie Mouse and looked adorable! We had a lot of fun at Zoo Boo and are already planning to go back for many years to come. Kyla got to trick or treat around the zoo and got candy from Owls, Moose, Tigers, Witches and more. The Zoo was lit up and decorated with pumpkins, spiders, witches and ghosts. Most of the animals were out and playing, so we walked around the entire zoo too. It was very busy and there were a ton of very cute costumes. Kyla did not seem to mind that the temperatures were only in the 20's, she had a great time! It was so fun to do so much with Kyla this Halloween, she really enjoyed all the Halloween events we attended, trick or treating and dressing up, we all had the best Halloween ever!

Happy Halloween

Trick-or-Treat Street

Trick-or-Treat Street

So cute!!!

Minnie Mouse

Trick-or-Treat

Today Kyla and I went downtown to go trick-or-treating at trick-or-treat street. This was Kyla's first time trick or treating and she loved it!!! She has really had a sweet tooth lately, so to her there is nothing better than filling a bag full of candy! There were a ton of people trick-or-treating at many of the downtown stores. Kyla loved saying trick or treat and said thank you everytime she got candy. Kyla only had a small nap in the car on the way to trick or treating so she did get tired after walking around for awhile, so I had to carry her around much of downtown, so we were both pretty tired after spending 2 1/2 hours walking around. After we left I asked Kyla if she had so much fun and she responded "just a little fun". She really did have a good time she was just a little overwhelmed by how many people were out trick or treating. It was really cold out so Kyla was very bundled up underneath her Minnie Mouse Costume, but still looked adorable! We have one more Halloween event to go to tommorrow. Kyla will either be Minnie Mouse for the third time or maybe a princess, either way we will once again be very bundled up!

Today was the Halloween Fall Carnival at the Museum. Kyla dressed up as Minnie Mouse and looked adorable! Kyla's friends Ethan and Ella came dressed as Batman and an Elephant and were also very cute. The museum had a lot of fun games that Kyla really enjoyed playing. She did a bean bag toss, ring toss, fishing and much more. Kyla got a lot of cute books and fun little toys as prizes for all of the games she played. She loved carrying around her Halloween bag to fill with all of her prizes and goodies!

We also got to play in the imaginarium for awhile. Kyla had fun blowing bubbles, petting a crab in the fish tank (and lost her minnie mouse ears in the tank too!), playing on the playground and a lot of other fun activities. She was so happy to be dressed up as Minnie all day and had a great time. She had such a great time that she took a three and a half hour nap afterward, which was great after being on a napping strike this week! Kyla absolutely loves everything about Halloween and has been having so much fun with all the fun activities related to Halloween this month.

Glowing Pumpkin!

We had a great time carving pumpkins for Halloween at Grandma's house. Kyla was not so sure about touching the gooey stuff and seeds, but really liked the "shovel" that we had to scoop them out and did her best to help. Kyla also picked out the pumpkin faces that she wanted mommy and daddy to carve. She watched very closely as we carved the pumpkins and really wanted to help cut them. She was pretty excited to see the finished pumpkins with candals in them and had a hard time deciding which one we would take home and which one we would leave at Grandma's house. Kyla loves pumpkins and gets so excited when we go the store and she sees pumpkins. Kyla has a tiny little pumpkin that she has been bringing with us almost everywhere we go!
