Kyla is now 11 months old. I can not believe that she is this close to turning 1, it seems like I just was pregnant with her. This month if I had to pick one word to descibe her it would be CURIOUS. She is curious about everything. She is exploring and getting into everything. It is hard to get upset with her because we know she is so innocent, but we are trying to set boundaries as well. She has learned how to remove electrical plug covers, but thankfully has not tried to put anything in the plugs. She has also enjoyed unrolling the toilet paper, removing everything from the cabinets, opening and turning on the dishwasher, opening the oven and so much more. Kyla has also learned how to throw a fit when you do not let her do what she wants to do. We try our best not to react to her when she is throwing a fit, but sometimes it is hard not to laugh.

We have had awful weather here the past few weeks. We have rain everyday and a lot of thunder and lightening too, so we have not been able to spend much time outside. When the weather is nice we head out onto the patio to play for awhile. Kyla is also just getting over being sick. She most likely had Rotavirus, so she is just getting back to herself just in time to go on a vacation to Cabo. We will be leaving on Sunday for a week vacation for jon's cousins wedding. We are looking forward to a week in the sun and lots of time in the pool. Jon's parents have not seen her since April and I sure they will be amazed by how much she has grown in this short time. In April Kyla was barely walking, but is now walking and running everywhere. She also enjoys babbling and playing games like peek-a-boo. Her favorite toys are now stacking toys and books. She loves other kids and has so much fun chasing them around and holding their hands. We are so happy to have such a wonderful daughter.
