Kyla and I went to the zoo today to see the baby polar bear that they have been caring for. The polar bear was found on the North Slope and had been seperated from it's mom. It was found about a month ago and only weighed 15 pounds. It has been at the zoo for a little while but they just started letting visitors see it on thursday for just one hour twice a day. It was such a cute and fun bear to watch. It was having a great time playing with all of it's toys and was tumbling all over the place. Kyla thought it was so funny playing with it's potato sack, it would throw it up in the air, climb inside it and roll itself up in it. We had so much fun watching the baby bear and already want to go back to see it again. The bear will be moved to Louisville, Kentucky as soon as they finish their new polar bear exhibit and will be paired with another baby polar bear.
