We had a wonderful 4th of July in Hawaii!!! We spent our first day in Hawaii playing and having a good time at my sisters house. Kyla and her cousins Mason and Madeline had so much fun playing outside all day together. They played with everything from trains, cars, babies, balls, playdoh...so much fun!!! Kyla had not seen her cousins since September and was so excited to see them again. After a bar-b-que dinner we walked to the beach to watch fireworks that were set off from a barge out in the ocean. We found a great spot to sit and enjoy a fantastic firework show! Kyla fell asleep on the walk back from watching fireworks so she missed the firework show that Jon and my brother-in-law Chad had in the driveway. Hawaii was a great place to be for celebrating the 4th of July, much better than spending it in Alaska where the fireworks are not until midnight and you can hardly see them since it is not even dark. We had a very nice first day in Hawaii and now have many more days to enjoy the sun!
