Summer Solstice Festival

Relay for Life

Kyla walked a total of 4 miles at the Relay for Life, 2 miles friday night and another 2 miles Saturday morning. She loved collecting a bead each lap to track her laps walked. It was great weather for the relay for life, we enjoyed visiting with family and Kyla really enjoyed all the sweet treats for sale and the bounce houses.

No Training Wheels

Kyla has been wanting to try her bike out with no training wheels for awhile now. We go on bike rides most days either just around the neighborhood or to the nearby park and she is very comfortable on her bike. So, we took her to the park and her and Daddy rode around on the grass without the training wheels on. He did take his hands off of her and the bike a few times so she could feel what it is like, but when we left the park the training wheels went back on for now so that she can keep going on her big rides.
