Skiing at Hilltop

Kyla had a blast skiing her first day of the season. She amazed us with how strong of a skier she was, she didn't even fall once all day.

Thanksgiving 2013

We had a very fun trip to Whidbey Island for Thanksgiving. Kyla had a blast spending time with her grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Spring Creek Farms Girl Scout Event

Kyla's Girl Scout troop had an outing to Spring Creek Farms where they learned about building shelters out of sticks, leaves and tarps. The girls had a great time.

Halloween

Kyla dressed as Alice from Alice in Wonderland this Halloween. Alice in Wonderland has been one of Kyla's favorite movies so she was very excited to be her for Halloween. This year for Halloween we went to a Halloween Party at Kyla's school, a indoor Halloween event at the Fairgrounds for tons of games and trick or treating and then finished up the night trick or treating door to door around our neighborhood.

Student of the Month

Kyla was named student of the month in her class for her very first month of school! We are so proud of her for how great of student she is and how well behaved she is at school. She got to go to a special lunch with the principal and the other students of the months and their families. They had a pizza party and were all given certificates and student of the month pins to wear on spirit days as well as some other goodies. Her new best kindergarten friend Violet and her soccer buddy Nate were also students of the month.

School Picture Day

Kyla had her picture day at school, and Daddy made sure in advance that he would be the one there to photograph her. She was excited to have him take her picture and a few of her friends pictures.
