Jon, Kyla and I went to the 4th of July Parade downtown. We all really enjoyed watching the parade and Kyla loved waving and waving her flag at everyone who went by us.
Kyla, Ethan and Ella have been having a fun summer together playing at parks and going to the zoo. They are all best friends and always have a great time together!
We saw this really big bull moose just off the side of our road. It is by far the biggest bull moose that I have seen around, it had really pretty velvet antlers.
Kyla loves playing at Grandmas house! She really likes playing in her water table, last week she was having so much fun playing with it and in it that we decided instead of making her go in the house for bath time we would just give her a bubble bath in the water table. She had a great time bathing in the water table and liked rinsing off with her beach bucket.
Kyla had a lot of fun helping Grandma plant her garden again this year! She got to plant the potatoes, onions, radishes, turnips, carrots, beats and peas in the garden. She did a good job at planting the seeds in a row and she has loves watching them grow. The only things that are ripe now are the radishes and onions and she likes to help pick them too.
Kyla absolutely loves gymnastics! When Grandma Mary was in town we got to bring her to gymnastics with us so that she could watch Kyla, and she took lots of pictures too so I finally have pictures of Kyla doing gymnastics. Kyla has been in gymnastics since January and is doing great! She has so much fun there and loves the gymnastics teachers. She is currently one of the oldest in her class so she is often chosen to demonstrate things for the other kids. We have about another month of gymnastics and then we have Kyla signed up for dance for once she is 3 years old. She is very excited to have dance class! It would be fun to do both gymnastics and dance, but with preschool also starting in the fall I don't want her to be too busy. We will just try out dance for one session and then see which she likes best.
