Bam Bam or Kyla's new joggerKyla is now eight months old. It is hard to believe how fast she is growing. Kyla had a Doctors appointment the other day and now weighs 17 pounds. Kyla has had her first cold and has been coughing a lot the last two weeks and unfortunatley she also got two of her little friends at school sick. Her cough is much worse at night and in the early morning so we have not slept nearly as well the last couple of weeks.
Kyla is now crawling for real, not just scooting like she was before. It is so fun and exciting to watch her learn so many new things. She still is really wanting to walk and I don't think it will be long before she learns.
Jon has been in Italy the last two weeks for a ski trip with his friends. We missed him and were very excited to have him come home. While he was gone Kyla slept in bed with me most of the nights since she was having such a hard time sleeping and needed to have her head propped up to sleep better. But, now that Jon is home and her cold is getting better she is back in her room.
While Jon was in Italy we recieved bad news that his Grandma Doreen had a stroke. Jon was able to get to Seattle and visit her just before she passed away. There will be a funeral and a wake to celebrate her life on March 1 in Seattle so we will go there just before heading to Hawaii for a vacation.
