Beautiful babyWe had a fun first month with our beautiful baby girl. Grandma Miranda stayed in town for the first week after Kyla was born. She cooked meals for us and helped take care of both me and Kyla. On her last day here we went for a hike with Kyla up at Albion Bason. The doctor had said that I needed to go for walks to prevent me from getting blood clots. We took a lot of pictures of Kyla in the pretty wild flowers.
The day after my mom left Grandma Gurry came to town for a week. She also cooked us lots of good meals and helped take care of me and Kyla while I was recovering and adjusting to being a new mom.
When Kyla was 4 weeks old we went on her first vacation. We went to Whidbey Island, Washington for a family reunion for Jon's Mom's side of the family. We got to introduce Kyla to her grandad, Aunt Shannon and her family, Uncle David and his family, both of her great grandmas, and many others. Kyla had a great time watching the kids play all around her.
